Our goal
EduHabs exists to give Indian students clear, practical and honest guidance on studying, building skills, and making decisions about exams, courses and careers. Every article should leave a reader able to do something they could not do before, whether that is planning a revision week, writing a first Python script, or knowing where to check a scholarship notice.
How we choose topics
- Questions students and teachers send us, and questions we hear repeatedly in classrooms and online forums.
- Gaps where existing information is confusing, outdated or written mainly to sell coaching or courses.
- Skills that are useful across many careers and can be learned with free or low-cost tools.
We do not write articles simply to target a search term, and we avoid publishing several near-identical pages on the same topic.
Research and sources
- Official sources first. For exams, boards, scholarships and admissions we rely on official websites and notifications, and we name the official site in the article so readers can check it.
- No unverifiable numbers. We do not publish statistics, amounts, dates or eligibility figures that we have not checked against an official or primary source. When details change often, we tell readers to check the current notice instead of quoting a figure that may go out of date.
- Learning science, carefully. When we describe study methods, we stick to well-established ideas such as retrieval practice and spaced repetition, and we avoid overstating what any single method can do.
- Hands-on checking. Tech tutorials are tested with the tools they describe, such as Python or Google Sheets, before publication.
Writing standards
- Every article is original and written for EduHabs. We do not copy or lightly reword other websites' content.
- We write in plain English, explain technical terms, and use examples from the Indian education system.
- Example students or scenarios are fictional and are labelled "(example)". We never publish fake testimonials, reviews, ratings or success stories.
- We aim for depth over length: step lists, worked examples, tables where they help, and an FAQ that answers real follow-up questions.
Review before publishing
Before publishing, each article is checked: facts and links are compared against official sources, steps and code are tested, and the text is edited for clarity. Articles are published under the shared byline "EduHabs Editorial Team".
Independence and advertising
EduHabs is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are selected automatically by Google and its partners. Advertisers do not see articles before publication and have no influence over what we write or recommend. We do not accept payment for coverage. Any future sponsored content or affiliate links will be clearly labelled.
Updates and corrections
- We review articles when official rules, tools or processes change, and when readers report problems.
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. When an article is corrected or substantially updated, we change its date.
- If a guide can no longer be kept accurate, we update it substantially or remove it rather than leave misleading information online.
To report an error, email info@eduhabs.in with the article link and what needs fixing, or use our contact page. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
